My Story
Welcome To
Man vs Grills
I fell in love with outdoor cooking at a young age. My grandfather loved cooking outside, and whether it was over his fish fryer, grill, or the old refridgerator that he had coverted to a smoker, I enjoyed being by his side and watching him work his magic. As I grew older, I fell in love with BBQ and the process behind it. I purchased an old Brinkman offset smoker and started my journey into outdoor cooking. I quickly learned the basic techniques of fire management and flavor profiles to create some really great BBQ. To this day, I find comfort and rest in cooking outside. This website is dedicated to all of my friends and family who have asked me to share my techniques and recipes so that they can learn to enjoy cooking with fire.
